Happy Halloween!
This year we decided to reuse our costumes/play dresses! Why pay when your kids are happy either way! Ok, maybe I won't get the best mom of the year award. But my kids still had a great time! Trey the cheese burger and Hannah as Rapunzel. (She wouldn't let me do anything to her hair so really she just looks like a princess without a crown!) My brother Matt came with us too. He was Wolverine.

Pumpkin Carving 2011
Getting ready for pumpkin carving. She was been asking for several weeks now!
First year Trey has been old enough to help. He ended up getting bored and started helping me make dinner. A chef in the making!
Drawing the traditional face: Triangles for eyes, Circle for the nose and a half moon for the mouth!
All finished and cleaned! Ready to light!
Happy Fall Y'all!!!
A Day at the Park
Yesterday was a beautiful day! Since DJ has the weekends off now, we have been doing things that give us more family time. Yesterday we went to Mills Park for a little bit. The kids always have a great time and I think DJ did too.
Hannah being Hannah!
She is our little poser!
Trey climbing up to slide down. He is always so busy, I had to beg him to turn around so could take his photo.
Loving the slide. I can't tell you how many times he went down it yesterday!
The kids on the marry go round. They had a good time. Trey fell off 2 or 3 different times. I can't remember which! He was fine all times, just dirty!
DJ pushing the marry go round.
Blurry because they were moving...duh!
Obviously having a good time!
I just loved the sun shinning thru! What a beautiful day!
Told you DJ had a good time too! :)
Loved watching my kids hair stand up due to the static of the slide!
Concentrating too hard to look and smile at momma.
Another static hair picture.
More proof DJ had a good time!
God's beautiful creation! How can we doubt?
I caught him sliding without kids! He is a kid at heart!
Not sure what I did to get this look, but he was happy all day. Must have been me constantly asking him to smile at the camera. Enough Mom!

Randomness!!!
Here are a few random pictures from the past week.
1. Shopping at Sam's with the whole family. Thankful for double seat baskets!
2. Trey fell asleep while watching TV. It was just too cute!
3. Trey sleepy on Benadryl. He was just too tired to climb all the way into the chair.
4. Trey and I just watching a movie.
Enjoy!

Pinnacle Mountain
Today we spent the afternoon climbing Pinnacle Mountain. This was the kid's and Lexi's first time to climb it. Before we had kids, DJ and I used to run up and down, all the way to the top and back! The kiddos are a little small still, so we only made it to the 5th marker. That is right as you get to the big rocks. On a side note, we had to take a different path starting out because they are doing work on the original path. (markers 1 - 4) I guess it is just maintenance and upkeep work. Here are some pictures.
Starting out! (notice how clean Trey is!)
About the 4th marker
Hannah really wanted a picture on top of this big rock. I forgot to get the rock in the picture! Oops.
My Honey Bunny. He had such a great time. This is one of his great loves of Arkansas.
Trey, getting dirtier! He had a great time too!
Our view from where we stopped. The kids loved it and so did I. Lexi did too! She was a trooper.

Lunch Date
Today was the first day I got to have a lunch date with my husband while on his lunch break. When he worked for Walgreens he never took a lunch. Now he gets an hour for lunch. I had some errands to run in Little Rock and since Trey was at MDO I thought it would be nice to have lunch together.
We ate at The Purple Cow on Cantrell. We have never eaten at this location before. It was very small and cozy! Perfect for our lunch date. And who could resist the purple milk shake! Not us! We shared one and enjoyed a good burger.
It is nice to have this option now. We might have to meet again next week!

Cheer Clinic & A Blimp
Yesterday was Benton High School's 2011 Cheer Clinic. Every year the high school cheerleaders teach elementary aged girls a couple of cheers and a dance. Then on Friday night at the football game, the girls get to cheer and dance on the field before the game starts. Hannah was super excited about doing this. She did really well for her age. They learned all the cheers and dance on Wednesday during one hour! Here is a video and some pictures from last night at the game.
Also yesterday afternoon Trey and I saw a blimp fly right behind our house. It isn't very often you get to see one, especially at a random time like this. It was just by luck we went outside at the very moment it flew by. Trey asked "Mama, what is that?" Without looking I answered a plane (because of the noise). He said "no mama, what is that?" I looked at got excited because he had never seen a blimp before. I raced through the house to get my camera and got out there just in time to get some pictures.
Hannah before her cheer routine. She was bouncing off the walls ready with excitment!
Hannah with her cheer teacher, Brittney!
Flying right behind our house.
Trey pointing to the blimp and asking all sorts of questions!
