7 months
Trey is 7 months now. I can't believe it! Well, he isn't crawling yet. I would have guessed he would have been before now, with all the practice he has been getting on his knees. I still say he is close, but we will see just how close he is. He is always so happy! Everyone in MDO and Sunday School has complemented me on how good he is. I love it. He is really starting to interact with Hannah. He watches her so closely and laughs at her when she does something he likes. Right now he is laughing at her as she pushes her baby stroller around the living room. His favorite toy right now is the rainbow doughnut stack thingy. I don't know the technical name! Him and Lexi are great friends. I guess being on the same level helps! Since the sickness has passed (for now), Trey is sleeping much better thru the night. He will wake about 7:30 or 8 in the morning. It has been nice to sleep in a little. I have started to put him in 12 month clothing. He still wears some 9 month outfits, but they are getting snug. He sits up all the time and prefers it over his belly. However, he does still play and sleep on his belly. For Halloween we are going to go to GS Fest and Trey is going as a spotted puppy. Hannah is going as a cat again. She can still wear the same costume as last year. Hopefully I will have my camera before then!
No Pictures!
Monday I took Hannah to the pumpkin patch with my church. I decided not to take Trey this year since it was so cold. He really isn't big enough to go anyway. So he stayed home with Daddy. Once arriving I realized my camera was not working properly. I couldn't get it to come on at all. So...I have picture on my iPhone, but not sure how to post them on here yet. We saw the pig races and did the hay ride. Hannah was able to feed the farm animals at the petting zoo. She really enjoyed feeding the chickens. After that Hannah picked out her pumpkin (which was quite large for a small pie pumpkin) and played on the hay slide and tunnel. She had a great time and unfortunately we had to leave a little sooner than expected since a bunch of kids showed up. I was too afraid of her getting trampled on the slide. So we came home and played outside.
About my camera, I am not sure what happened to it but it doesn't work right. We put new batteries in it thinking that was the problem but it wasn't. I finally got it to turn on, but then the screen was not functioning right and it turned off immediately. How it got broken I am not sure. It hasn't been in the hands of the kids. Most of the time it was sitting on the kitchen counter. So, the camera hunt was on for a new camera. I found one very similar to the one I had in college and high school, a Canon Rebel 35mm. I found the digital version, but a bit pricey. DJ and I decided it would be my Christmas present. I used to love taking pictures with my 35mm until I had kids. Then it was just too hard to get a good photo so I stopped using it due to the new digital one my brother got me. Now I will be able to use my old lenses (I have a standard one and an really nice zoom lens) and take all the perfect pictures I want. I am excited...I am waiting for it to arrive. I ordered online after looking at the exact one I wanted in the store. I decided since I have lenses already that I would just order the camera body without the lens.
So look for some pictured posts soon!

6 Months Old
Trey is 6 1/2 months now, so I thought it was time to post about his 6 month accomplishments. He went to the doctor on the 1st for his check up. He weighed 20# and 7.5 ounces (95%) 27 3/4 inches long (88%). Big boy! He got his regular shots and then also got his first flu shot.
Here are some of the things I want to remember:
*He is sitting up with little support (sometimes he will loose his balance and fall over so we still watch carefully)
*He will pull up to his hands and knees and rock back and forth but no crawling yet.
*He will scoot around backwards
*He doesn't have any teeth yet, but he is always chewing on his hands, feet, and toys.
*He is eating cereal, fruits and veggies along with his formula.
*He is ticklish all over!
*He is starting to show his personality more. He likes to be held and played with all the time. However he will still play by himself for a short while.
*He normally will sleep through the night, but lately has had trouble with that. I think he is going through a growth spurt.
*He sleeps on his belly and side the most.
*He is going to MDO now (yay...mommy gets a break).
*He gets upset if I yawn out loud in front of him and with loud noises like when Hannah screams or squeals.
*He still loves being outside
*He is staying awake more now, and still taking irregular naps. (maybe that is why we are having trouble at night)
